A video showing a man being beaten with a stick in front of a crowd after he was allegedly caught chopping with a married woman has been shared online. According to Nigerian media, the man, who had been accused of adultery, was flogged in public to deter potential adulterers.

After four strikes he tires to break free but he is stopped and then beaten further on the ground.
