Stonebwoy Finally Speaks On News That He Has Endorsed NDC’s Okada Legalization



Stonebowy disassociates himself from reports that he supports John Mahama’s Okada legalization as he narrates it is a 3-year-old video of him riding an Okada when we was late for an occasion.



Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy was recently trending on various Ghanaian news portals after a video of him on an Okada was fast trending on the internet.



According to many headlines that were circulating on social media, it revealed that the dancehall/reggae artist has thrown his support behind the legalization of okada in the country.

Okada; is a motorcycle used as the easiest form of transportation but unfortunate it is illegal in Ghana.



John Mahama, NDC Flagbearer and Former President, has promised to legalize okada activities in the country if voted into power in the 2020 election.

The legalization of Okada has brought about two different perspective; where some believe it’s very risky to legalize it and others are willing to embrace it because it will provide jobs for the youth.

After the fast trending video was casuing a stir on the inetrnet and many thinking the recording artist is a member of the political party, Stonebwoy took to his Twitter page to address the issue stating emphatically that it was an old video.

According to him, Okada is good for the people and it allows you to beat traffic when you’re in hurry to some place.

Stonebwoy while sharing the information to the general public to debunk such rumors wrote:



My attention has been drawn to a 3 Year old video of me riding on an OKADA. Which is being Publicized As An Endorsement For A Political Party.. I disassociate Myself From this.. Please I Beg this is NOT in ANY WAY an ENDORSEMENT For ANY POLITICAL PARTY #GodBlessGhana
