Floyd Mayweather Reportedly Commits To Covering The Funeral Costs Of George Floyd

The tragic passing of George Floyd has impacted people around the globe, causing unrest in the black community, and amongst the impacted family. Floyd Mayweather has come forward to lend a large hand, by covering the funeral costs for George!

According to Hollywood Unlocked, Floyd personally reached out to George Floyd’s family, as he was “distraught” after learning that that Officer Chavin was being charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Mayweather reportedly reached out to the Floyd family, and committed to paying for the three funeral services being held in George’s honor. The ceremonies will reportedly be held in Houston, Minnesota, and Charlotte, and the family is reportedly planning a fourth service in another location.

As we previously reported, George Floyd passed away during an arrest, after Officer Chauvin and other officers held George down, with a knee to his neck.

Despite George telling the officers he couldn’t breathe, he passed away from asphyxiation
