There has been a set back once again in Ghana’s fight against the Coronavirus as reports from the Eastern Region confirm 20 new cases of Coronavirus.
These 20 people are all workers of the Afcons Infrastructure Limited in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality bringing total cases to 21 in the region.
The new cases are from samples they took from over 200 workers of the company tasked to build the railway from Akosombo in the eastern region to Tema in the Greater Accra region after an Indian expatriate worker tested positive for the virus.
19 of the 20 people are Indian nationals while the nationality of the last person is yet to be ascertained.
